Finding Balance Starting with a Single Stone

"Rock Balancing Workshop: Don't Just Stack Them, Stand Them Up!" is a hands-on event dedicated to ishihana, the practice of balancing natural stones upright by hand. You will work with your own hands to find that exact point where a wobbling stone suddenly stands still.

Participants start by balancing just one stone, and once comfortable, can challenge themselves with more difficult multi-tier balances using two or three stones. All stones and tools are provided by the organizers, and instructor Ishihana Chitoku will be on hand with guidance and support throughout.
