This notice covers the POKOTABI website and its venue subdomains. For questions about this notice or your information, email [email protected]. A restaurant, event organiser or external booking service has its own responsibilities and privacy practices; those services are not covered by this notice.
Information you provide
When you use a contact, correction or owner enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, message, selected language and any page or source URL you include. We use these details to understand and handle the request, communicate with you where appropriate and keep a record of the enquiry.
Messages you send by email are also used to handle your enquiry. If verification of a business relationship is needed, we will explain the information requested and its purpose. Do not send passwords, payment card details or sensitive identity documents through the public form.
Information used to operate the website
Website requests can produce technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested page, time and error details. This information may be processed by us and service providers to deliver pages, diagnose faults, protect the website and prevent abuse.
For public form submissions, we use a one-way identifier derived from the email address to limit repeated requests. It is an anti-abuse measure, not an anonymous guarantee. Administrative sign-in uses session cookies; public browsing does not require creating an account.
Saved places and browser preferences
Saved trip lists and some search or language preferences are stored in your browser. They are not automatically synchronised as a personal account across devices or all subdomains. Clearing browser storage can remove them.
If you share a trip list, its link can contain the places you selected. Anyone who receives that link may be able to view those selections. Only share a list you are comfortable making available to the recipient.
Service providers and external services
Providers supporting website delivery, security, hosting and communication may process the information needed for those functions. External fonts and maps can involve requests to their providers, including network and device information. Following a booking, social sharing or other external link takes you to a service with its own privacy notice.
We do not currently load Google advertising scripts on these pages. If Google advertising is introduced, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies, identifiers and information such as IP addresses to deliver, measure or personalise advertising, subject to applicable choices and consent requirements. Retention and protection
Public form records are scheduled for routine deletion after 90 days. Separate email correspondence may remain for as long as necessary to resolve the request or document an ongoing business relationship. Technical records are retained according to operational and security needs rather than treated as permanent personal profiles.
We use measures intended to protect information and restrict access to appropriate purposes. No website or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Providers may process information in countries other than your own; applicable requirements depend on the service and your location.
Your questions and choices
You can remove locally saved data through your browser settings. To ask about an enquiry, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, contact [email protected]. Include the request reference or enough context to locate the information, but avoid sending additional sensitive material. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information.
Privacy rights, including access, correction, deletion or objections to particular uses, depend on the law applicable to you. We will assess requests accordingly. If you are not old enough to use the website or contact us independently under applicable rules, involve a parent or guardian.
