Six Artists from Japan and China in a Resonant "Duet"
This exhibition marks the second installment in a series following the 2018 show "On Love: Asian Contemporary." It was co-curated with Teng Qingyun, executive director of the Three Shadows Xiamen Photography Art Centre, a key institution championing photography in China.
The featured artists comprise six individuals and pairs: Toshiya Murakoshi, Wang Tuo, Taca Sui, Luo Yang, Jiang Pengyi, and fumiko imano. Much like a musical duet where two distinct voices and melodies harmonize, the exhibition creates a space where personal memories, time, and cultural perspectives intersect.
Open Until 20:00 on Thursdays and Fridays: Planning an Evening Visit
Regular museum hours are 10:00 to 18:00, but opening hours extend until 20:00 on Thursdays and Fridays. Final entry is always 30 minutes before closing, making late Thursday or Friday afternoons and evenings ideal for fitting in a relaxed visit after work.
The museum is closed on Mondays (if Monday is a national holiday, it stays open and closes the following weekday). It will also be closed for the New Year holidays from December 28, 2026, through January 1, 2027, so be sure to check dates carefully if you plan to visit over the winter break.
